Turkey Bolognaise


Turkey bolognaise is low in saturated fat, high in protein, delicious & very versatile! If you need inspiration for dinner this evening why not try this tasty recipe by Susie Burrell. 


  • 500g turkey mince
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 large onion, finely diced
  • 1 large carrot, finely diced
  • 2 celery stalks, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely diced
  • 3 tbsp. salt reduced tomato paste
  • 420g can diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup salt reduced chicken stock


  1. Cook onions and garlic with olive oil until translucent.
  2. Add carrots and celery and cook for a further 5 minutes.
  3. Add turkey mince and cook until browned.
  4. Add wine and cook until wine is evaporated.
  5. Add tomato paste and tomatoes and cook for a further 10 minutes.
  6. Add chicken stock and simmer over medium heat for 30-60 minutes.
