Don’t worry, we’ve been there too! :) Luckily we have Brian on standby, to show us exactly how it’s done! Is Your Sporting Injury Progressing Slower Than You’d Like?

Brian Killian
Is your sporting injury progressing slower than you’d like? Last week, HIF Fitness guru, Brian Killian explained why ‘Fascia’ could be the source of your injury, and also detailed the causes of FASCIA dysfunction. Since then, we’ve received lots of great questions from members, including this one from Taryn in WA who is concerned about her recovery: “Hi Brian, I have been having treatment for a 12mm tear in my Fascia with my local podiatrist. My treatment after 3 weeks is not improving as swiftly as I’d hoped and my podiatrist is now recommending a cortisone injection. I'm not too keen on this idea, do you have any suggestions on this matter? I'm a keen tennis player and wanting to get back to playing tennis sooner rather than later. Taryn, Roleystone, WA”. In his response, Brian offers his professional advice to Taryn and provides her with guidance on a recovery plan to follow.

How To Make Fitness Fun?

Brian Killian
Keeping fit - choice, chore or challenge? Take a moment and really think about it. Are your workouts an exciting part of your routine, or simply something to tick off your checklist? Don’t worry if you answered the latter, you’re not the only one. In fact, our very own fitness guru Brian Killian detests the gym: “I hate going into gyms. Can’t stand it, running indoors overlooking a pool on a treadmill is not my idea of a good time. That’s just me; others love the comfort, the safety, the atmosphere of gyms, we are all different which is great. The point is, if you’re doing something physical you actually enjoy doing, the likelihood of you continuing is much higher than not”.  In this post, Brian offers his top five tips to make your fitness experience as enjoyable as possible, whilst also outlining the core fitness principles he abides by when constructing any type of fitness program.
