The term Yoga refers to a group of physical, mental, and spiritual practices or disciplines which originated in ancient India. It aims to aid health and relaxation through breath control, meditation and the adoption of specific bodily postures. The term Pilates refers to a system of exercises using special apparatus, designed to improve physical strength, flexibility, and posture, and enhance mental awareness. Pilates involves strengthening, stretching, and stabilising key core muscles, with an emphasis on lengthening the body and aligning the spine. Find a Pilates instructor
