Standard promo-code terms and conditions.

  • Promotional offers can only be accessed once the first payment for the new HIF membership is received and the membership in active.
  • Referring and referred members must be on a current financial HIF membership. 
  • To qualify for a promo-code offer, the applicant must purchase a health insurance policy directly from HIF (online or by calling 1300 134 060), and mention the relevant promo-code at the time of joining
  • Promo-code offers are only available to new HIF members only (ex members re-joining HIF within 12 months of their previous cover will not be eligible)
  • Promo-code offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer from HIF; and
  • Promo-code offers are not available to HIF staff, directors, or their immediate families.
  • For 'bonus cash card' offers, the reward will be mailed out to new Members in the form of an HIF branded EFTPOS gift card. 
    • For domestic policyholders, gift cards will be mailed out to the Member's nominated postal address approximately 6 weeks after the policy has commenced, once one month's premium has been paid to HIF, and the 30 cooling off period has been served. 
    • For overseas policyholders, gift cards will be mailed out to the Member's nominated postal address in Australia once the policy has been financial for 3 months. 
  • Unique referral codes should only be used for personal and non-commercial purposes. This means that you can share your invite link with your personal connections via social media where you are the primary content owner. However for public distribution on sites where you are a contributor but not the primary content owner (e.g. coupon websites) is prohibited and you will not be entitled to the referral voucher.

  • Member Rewards are not available for new memberships which will receive any other form of HIF discount or offer or when the member joins through a third party channel. 
  • HIF reserves the right to change the EFTPOS card supplier or gift/reward itself without prior notice or advice.
