Pooches at Play is a brand new lifestyle and entertainment show all about dogs and our relationship with them and will see TV Week Logie Award and AFI Award winner, Gyton Grantley, take on his first major TV presenting role on the series that launches on TEN Saturday 15 July at 2.30pm

Gyton and his furry mate George team up with dog trainer and animal welfare advocate Lara Shannon and her cheeky side-kick Darcy to explore life on four legs – introducing a brand new genre to Australian TV that caters to the 38% of Australian households that own a dog and millions of dog lovers around the country.

From behavioural issues and training tips to health advice, pet friendly weekend escapes and other fun things you can do together, each 8 x half hour episode of Pooches at Play will explore the issues, products and services that every dog owner needs to know about to help cultivate a healthy, happy pooch.

Resident Vet, Dr Melissa Meehan, completes the team with her adorable rescue poodles Mia and Monty, who are a little more camera shy than the limelight stealing George and Darcy who are determined to outshine the famous Australian ‘Social Media Sensations’ they meet during the eight episodes in Series One.

Pooches at Play is created by Lara Shannon and produced in conjunction with The Rusty Cage.
