Under the leadership of CEO Greg Morris, Health Insurance Fund of Australia (HIF) has strengthened its leadership team through a series of executive appointments, expanded portfolios and elevated member experience representation within the Leadership Team as the organisation continues to deliver its FY27-29 Strategic Plan.
The changes are designed to enhance HIF's capability across strategy, growth, product, technology, data, risk, finance, people and member experience, supporting sustainable growth and ensuring the not-for-profit health insurer continues to meet the evolving needs of members.

Expanded responsibilities

HIF CEO, Greg Morris, said the appointments created a leadership team with the experience and capability required to deliver the organisation's long-term strategy.
“This has been a year of significant change for HIF's leadership team, and I'm incredibly grateful to the people who have helped guide the organisation through that transition.
“I'd like to formally welcome Troy Sheahan, Michael Hayes and Angela North to HIF, and and congratulate Amanda Bell on her elevated role, ensuring the everyday experience of our members is represented at the leadership table.
“I'd also like to thank Kristina Green and Billy Martin for taking on expanded portfolios, and recognise Gerry Schipper, who has stepped up twice this year, first as Interim Chief Risk Officer and now as Interim Chief Financial Officer. His calm leadership and expertise have been invaluable during a period of change.
“It is important to acknowledge Glenn Oellermann, who retired in September after more than 20 years with HIF, including serving as Chief Financial Officer. We thank Glenn for his outstanding contribution and wish him a long and well-deserved retirement.
“HIF is proudly Western Australian. It’s where we started, where we're based, and where we contribute the most. At the same time, our members are located right across Australia, and this leadership team is focused on delivering great outcomes for every one of them," concluded Mr Morris.
