HIF supports members affected by the flooding in Victoria and New South Wales

At HIF we are here for our members no matter how difficult the circumstances. HIF recognises the extraordinary impact the flooding in Victoria and New South Wales has had on our members over the last few weeks.

It’s why we are offering our support to members in affected regions through:

  1. Providing access to our Mental Health Navigator online support
  2. The option of suspending policy for those in need

HIF has also pledged $25,000 to GIVIT to support our members and the broader community on the ground and where needed.

GIVIT is the smart way to give to people and communities recovering from an emergency or disaster.

Donations made via GIVIT provide critical and immediate support. They are there for the long run supporting people as they re-establish homes and as communities recover.

HIF CEO Justin James said it has been extremely difficult watching the situation on the east coast, following the devastating floods there earlier this year.

“Flooding not only damages homes and businesses, it also takes a huge toll on people’s physical and mental wellbeing,” Mr James said.

“We want our members to know we are thinking of them at this time and offering our support at this difficult time.”
